Days away from a new year, new and updated goals, a desire for a fresh start to 2015 - this book fit into the jigsaw puzzle of books I have read recently. The concept of being proactive in my life and taking the necessary steps to NOT be mediocre. The book is built upon a question that when used helps the reader to approach differently their life. I enjoyed how the chapters were not long and were easy to read. It is designed so that the reader can reflect on the material or simply read it straight through. Andy takes time helping readers understand where he wants to go with the book before he presents the question and from there expounds on that question in various aspects of life.

The book has caused me to pause and reflect on how I respond to life but also what question am I asking as I make decisions. Am I being wise? As I am preparing for the new year and dreaming a bit, I find myself pulling in the question Andy poses in his book Ask It. The book is easy to read and one I see myself returning to over the years.

Disclosure of Material connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the Blogging for Books book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commissions 16 CFR, Part 255: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising

Ask It: The question That Will Revolutionize How You Make Decisions, written by Andy Stanley, published by Multnomah Books, is a publication that strives to guide its readers into a greater relationship with Christ and a better understanding of how to handle life's situations.

In typical Andy Stanley style, the readers of this publication are presented with a powerful message in an easy to understand, easy to apply format. The information provided directs its readers to a better thought process, a more skillful way to seek the will of God.

Andy understands that questions invade us on a daily basis, making it, at times, more difficult to navigate through our circumstances or power through our situations. So he introduces a new way of thinking, a new way of asking for what could be called the appropriate direction to take in each moment that life challenges us to move.

This book is very difficult to put down because it is filled with life changing information, thus it is a recommended purchase for yourself or as a gift.
