In Volume 5: North Countries: Renaissance to Realism students will learn about how the tradition of Realism began by reading the stories of the Flemish masters and how they changed the way we look at nature. Textbook lessons feature artwork by Bruegel, Du_rer, Rubens, Cuyp, Vermeer, and more as well as examples of student artwork, prep notes for teachers, and hints for teaching outside of the home environment.
