Psalms: Songs along the Way is a series of 12 studies on different psalms that will give you an overview of the genre of Scripture, and equip you to explore the rest of the Psalms. Kathleen Buswell Nielsen will guide you, 5 days a week, through reading, marking, meditating, memorizing, and praying psalms. This will enrich your understanding of God's ways while you're also learning the art of getting the most out of what you're reading. Space is provided for your answers. You will need only your Bible with this guide. Notes for leaders are provided, along with references for further study.
Introduces the whole book of Psalms and then guides us through a study of selected psalms, representing types. Careful exposition is combined with personal meditation and application. Good for individuals or groups.

Walk into any Christian Book store and your head will spin with the enormous volume of Bible study materials available for womenhow can you choose which to use? If you open up one of Kathleens studies you will be gently led to unpack the scriptures and find yourself sitting at the feet of Jesus and learning of him. With a wonderful balance of truth and application, she helps the journey from head to heart be one that transforms us. We have enjoyed using this material in our Bible studies for five years, and we look forward to many more titles.
Kathleen is a gifted communicator. I love to hear her teach and would love to read her books. However, in these studies, with quiet restraint, Kathleen puts her communications skills to use by carefully crafting questions so that it is not her voice you hear. Rather, the student is drawn into Scripture, given the opportunity to study the very words of God, and learns to hear the Savior speak. This study is my favorite starting place for help people learn to delight in the study of Scripture. Not a pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps or a go-be-a-good-Christian approach, Kathleen helps us discover how a life transformed by the gospel is motivated to live out the principial wisdom of Proverbs as a grateful response to salvation.
