In addition to biblical examples and practical application, Sandford shows readers how certain "lighthouse churches" are incorporating and cultivating these goals. The church of Jesus Christ, he says, can rise up to have a prophetic impact on cities and nations and become all that our Savior called us to be.

Tell us a little about yourself. Founding Pastor, New Song Fellowship, Denver, Colorado. Author of "Purifying the Prophetic: Breaking Free from the Spirit of Self-fulfillment", "Understanding Prophetic People: Blessings and Problems with the Prophetic Gift" and "The Prophetic Church: Wielding the Power to Change the World". What was your motivation behind this project? If you're hungry for another way of doing and being church, this would be it. It's the hunger in God's heart and in mine! It's time for the church to have the impact for the kingdom of God it was always designed to have. Time for the bride to truly reflect the heart of the Bridegroom!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It applies to every believer and the role he or she plays in advancing the kingdom of God. You just might find your destiny on these pages as you redefine who you are in Christ, your relationships and even your calling.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Preachers often preach to themselves. It permanently changed my view of myself and my role in the kingdom of God. It challenged me to think like a son of God and not like a servant or a slave.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The Toronto Blessing. Bill Johnson and Kris Valloton at Bethel Church in Redding, California. My parents, John and Paula Sandford.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Renew your hope! God is setting up lighthouse churches around the world, filled with life, love and healing.
