I enjoyed Keller's take on the parable, as he emphasizes, of the prodigal sonS (plural). Keller, as always, gives a new perspective on something one sincerely believed one knew. Yet again, I must re-think God's position and my response.
This is an incredible book/CD, everything in it is gold. The way that Keller "reveals" the truth about the older brother in this story will cause most in the Christian community to examine their lives again and will no doubt lead them to godly repentance. Also the way the gospel is presented in this book is so clear and understandable that I want to share it with my neighbors who do not know Jesus. This is a great book.
I loved this book so much that I used the teachings to prepare for a women's retreat which I led last weekend. Many who were in attendance at the retreat have asked that we plan a reunion to discuss how our lives have been impacted by what we learned.
