Kick Start Cursive introduces children to lowercase letters, connections, and capitals; they'll also learn how to write their names in cursive. This option provides a gentle introduction that will prepare them for the more cursive-intensive instruction given in third grade.
This new edition features updates to benefit you and your child. Now aligned to Common Core State Standards in English, Language Arts, and Math, lessons integrate cross-curricular connections and (through the sold-separately teacher's guide) home and technology links. This new edition Printing Power workbook has been expanded, and now leads directly into cursive instruction found in the Kick Start Cursive workbook.
Pages are reproducible for the same child's practice and benefit. Pages are not to be reproduced for siblings or others. Grade 2.
This kit includes:
- Printing Power; 94 pages.
- Kick Start Cursive; 32 pages.

CMOKOK5 Stars Out Of 5Making the Cursive Transition EasierJuly 4, 2013CMOKOKQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love that HWT made this set. Starting cursive writing can be a difficult transition. HWT is an excellent program, but I like how they added this second workbook to the last printing workbook. You can buy it with or without depending on your child's need.
