love the size, love the cover , love the large lettering. The problem is typos a few of them letters being left out of words. what really bothered me was in this bible psalms 47:2 it should read: For the Lord most high is awsome, in this bible it reads: For the Lord most high is terrible. was this even proofread before being published?

The price is right and the cover is beautiful with the Celtic cross. The type size is small but is to be expected from a bible this small.

Quality is excellent; font size is reasonable for size; Bible ad-in sections are very good. Regarding the translation ... I've read many translations (nKJV, KJV, NASB,Net, NIV, etc.) and this one is now my favorite. Commentaries I read that reference a footnote with "... better manuscripts say ___...", I find, sure enough, that's what the CSB translation is using. I'm very pleased with the translation and the format and size of this Bible. It has made a big difference with my studies.

The CSB is a great new translation that strikes a great balance between readability and formal equivalence. What you end up with is an accurate and accessible translation that I am confident to put in the hands of my church members. I now do my devotions from the CSB and it is my go-to bible of choice to give to a new believer. The scholarship behind the bible is conservative and sound.

The "Large Print Compact Reference Bible" is a great affordable Bible to give to others or for personal use -- higher in quality than some of the less expensive gift bibles in a print that is readable and a binding and cover that is durable enough for everyday use.

Trustworthy translation + good value = win win.
