In this third book of The Prince Warriors trilogy, the Prince Warriors finally receive their last piece of armorthe swords they were promised when they began their adventure in the unseen realm of Ahoratos. Fitzysmom5 Stars Out Of 5Review from Rambles of a SAHMApril 26, 2017FitzysmomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Every good epic trilogy should come to a climactic ending. That's exactly what you can expect from The Prince Warriors and the Swords of Rhema. Our warriors have fought battles and learned to wear their armor but now they are looking forward to the ultimate weapon . . . their swords.
On the surface this has been a spectacular story that fans of Tolkien will enjoy. But just like the Lord of the Rings trilogy there is a major storyline going on underneath the surface. The whole trilogy centers on learning to put on the armor of God and fight the battles through Him. The forces that come against the young warriors are from the unseen realm and they are big and fight nasty . . . but God is bigger and through Him the warriors can prevail.
If you have a tween you should get them this series. I think it appeals to girls and boys even though the main characters are boys. We've been reading it together as a family and even the adults are enamored with it. I would say that you need to read all three books in order. The adventure builds on itself and so if you read the books out of order you'll have major spoilers.
I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.
Seasons of GraceAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5My Son's Favorite SeriesMarch 23, 2017Seasons of GraceAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This has been my son's favorite series from Book One. He has read and reviewed both the first and second book in the series. This is what he had to say about book three:
I enjoyed this book very much. I thought the twists and turns of the plot made for a very exciting page-turner. The introduction of new characters was very interesting, especially Viktor. It was very fun to uncover the mysteries of Ruwach during the book.
This is a book for all kids who love action and adventure. All-in-all I would give this book five stars. My favorite character is Ruwach, because he is a big mystery that you never really know everything about, but learn more about over the course of this book.
I was blessed with a free copy of this book by B&H Publishing Group to review. I was not required to review positively and all opinions are my own.
Kris BushOrlando, FLAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Pretty Good bookMarch 16, 2017Kris BushOrlando, FLAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4So I was able to snag a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.
I allowed my daughter (9 years old) to read the book, she's devouring books right now. And as a mom, I love that she loves to read.
This is the third book in the series but the first one that she's getting to read. It's about the princes, who are at a place where they are finally receiving their swords. But there is an enemy who will lurk among them, in human form to deceive them as he'd used their blood to be like them, accepted as one of them but he means to hurt them, to capture them and hold them in the darkness. He does capture two but is warned to stop while he can. But as a fictional representation of the devil, he will not and it will be his downfall.
I won't reveal too much more of the plot so that others can read the book and enjoy it.
I would definitely recommend this to others. My daughter at 9 was not scared by the imagery in the book. Yet I would still say tread with caution, on giving the book to those under 12 to read.
Laura HiltonHorseshoe Bend, ARAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5The Prince Warriors and the Sword of RhemaFebruary 23, 2017Laura HiltonHorseshoe Bend, ARAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5(Reviewed by Jenna) First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, THE PRINCE WARRIORS AND THE SWORDS OF RHEMA is a very thrilling book, just like the other ones in the series that I read. It is very hard to describe but it is very exciting. They battle unseen creatures that no one else can see but they can. There's always somebody who makes a mistake and brings something back to earth that they aren't supposed to. And when that happens there is a bunch of unearthly things that happen on earth that they have to battle.
This book is very intense and might be too scary for 8 - 12 year olds.
It is a very very exciting book. Five stars.
lcjohnson1988IndianaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5tales with a strong messageFebruary 22, 2017lcjohnson1988IndianaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The third and final book of the Prince Warriors trilogy follows the adventures of six children in their battle against the evil Poneros who seeks to destroy the Prince Warriors who serve the Source. Along the way, they will discover certain truths about standing firm, not to rely on themselves and having everything they need to fight the enemy. The children must be bold and courageous, but Poneros is cunning and he will do whatever it takes to deceive the Prince Warriors so that they may be unable to thwart his master plan to take over the world. The children have come a long way since becoming Prince Warriors, but in the climactic battle thats coming, they may have to learn what they must sacrifice in order to gain victory over their foe.
I like this book because of how it points to the real battle that is happening in the world: spiritual warfare. I would recommend this book to others because of the lessons that it teaches on how to fight the real enemy, who is Satan and his angels and how we must always use our spiritual gifts as well as always rely on God for we are nothing without Him. I also like the important points that the book makes about Earth not being our home but in Heaven with our Father and how even when we correct the mistakes weve made, there are always consequences. Another important point is that when we battle on offense we should always do so with wisdom.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to the authors who wrote this wonderful trilogy. Through these books and the devotional that goes with them, they certainly are doing what God has called them to do. I hope that our Heavenly Father puts it into their minds and hearts to write another fantastic trilogy or series that will help young people to have a better understanding of spiritual warfare through fiction-based books.
