As I read this new offering from Pastor Youssef, I was tremendously blessed by how he clearly addressed how we (America) got to where we are now. This level of presentation or discussion is generally not being addressed from most pulpits in America, which in my opinion is incredibly sad and dangerous.As I progressed through the book there were 2 biblical passages that came to mind, the first was Philippians 3: 20, " For our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. The second was from Daniel 3:16-18 " Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the King, O Nebuchadnezzar,, we have no need to answer you in this matter, if that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand O King. " but if not let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve you gods, now will we worship the gold image which you have set up". We who are born again Christians are being intimidated by the radical far left to comply, bow, or die or be burned up, destroyed. Many I fear will indeed bow to that threat. We however must remember that this war has only been escalating by leaps and bounds as the Father of Lies, remains relentless in his attack on any follower of the Lord God. It has been incrementally accomplished by the attack on the christian principles and values that were in place from the very beginning of our country, as well as the material provided to our children in schools and universities. We hear daily the vile hate and revulsion of any thing resembling moral integrity, honesty and truth or Biblical absolutes. You will however find great hope in chapters 6 & 7 as to what we can do. By all means get a copy for yourself and one for a friend. You will be informed, but blessed and encouraged by Pastor Youssef's work.

My family and I just finished reading Hope for the Present Crisis. Dr. Youssef states the Biblical truth about our world and society. He tackles subjects such as racism, public education, church failures and social media. I would definitely recommend this book to all. Being a homeschool mom, I enjoy being able to know the figures of Christian history with ease and can relate to the stories. Jesus is our only hope to fix this corrupted world. The Holy Spirit is definitely poured out on Dr. Youssef. He clearly speaks the uncompromising truth. Worth reading as a family and sharing. God Bless
