PreScripts Cursive Words and Drawing: Scripture

The Prescripts series from Classical Conversations is a pre-writing handwriting copywork course for children that refines cursive handwriting skills through copying scripture or verses or rich historical content.

Prescripts: Cursive Letters and Drawing: Scripture introduces children to the building blocks of cursive writing: letters, then words, then simple sentences, through copying Bible verses selected from Proverbs and James. Drawing instruction helps develop fine motor skills, and gives progressive instruction from simple elements like dots, lines and curves, to combinations to drawing that show depth and perspective.

Pages can be reproduced in-family; reproducible consumable workbook. At one page per year, there are enough pages for a complete school year (4-5 pages/week). 143 pages, softcover, spiralbound top. KJV & NIV verses used.

There are four levels of the Prescripts series: Orange (Cursive Letters & Coloring), Red (Cursive Words & Drawing), Green (Cursive Sentences and Art Lessons), and Blue (Cursive Passages & Illuminations). This book is part of the Red series, which is appropriate for ages 5-10 / Grades K-5.
