PreScripts Cursive Passages and Illuminations: Poetry

The Prescripts series from Classical Conversations is a pre-writing handwriting copywork course for children that refines cursive handwriting skills through copying--while integrating rich literary content.

Prescripts Cursive Passages and Illuminations: Poetry integrates drawing lessons that teach students to illustrate the imagery in these classic poems. Students will copy poems from some of the greatest writers in history, including Shakespeare, Chaucer, Browning, Frost, and others. Each poem is also accompanied by a note on the rhetorical devices used in poetry, such as simile, epanalepsis, consonance, anaphora, and more.

Pages can be reproduced in-family; reproducible consumable workbook. Grades: Ages 10 & up / Grade 5 & up. At one page per year, there are enough pages for a complete school year (4-5 pages/week). Recommended for use by Classical Conversations Challenge III students. 161 pages, softcover, spiralbound.
