This book gripped my heart. I couldn't put it down. Her tragic story and God's faithfulness was inspiring. But the practical steps that she took to walk out of her circumstances victoriously are reproducible in any believer's life. It more than just a good read, she gave good advice for anyone that is going through dark times.
Do you like biographies? Do you like to know behind-the-scenes of events? Do you like to read stories of people who have overcome difficult times?
Then you will like this book.
This book weaves the story of Antoinette's life with the day she came face-to-face with a man who was intent on suicide by cop.
The story tells what she was feeling during that time and how her most prominent thought during part of the time is something you wouldn't expect. She talks about hurtful things in her life growing up, during her young years, and even on the day of event.
She explains how God prepared her for that day through all she had been through.
The book gives you thought about your own life and how when things look hopeless, there is always a reason to continue. God puts people in your life at the right precise moment to help them. It may not be a big event as Antoinette's, but it could be.
The only warning I would give is, don't read it if you need to get up early the next day! I read the book in about three settings and went to bed late two nights in a row. Ha!
