This book has been read by a lot of dear friends. I however have not had a chance to read it yet. I placed on my table the day received. My mom read the book that day and was moved by the words. Then her friend needed a phone prayer session. She mentioned the book and mom placed it buy our door for her to pick up. A few days later during a zoom bible study at her friend home. Her friend saw it in the background and asked if she could borrow it for a few days. Her sister was in town and not a believer but loves to have her sister read Maxs books to her. We both feel this is a door that is opening up to God's words.This book will be coming back into my home this weekend. So I'm next! I give this item a perfect score just because of how it has been used so far and I pray in the future.

It's beautifully designed, it has a chapter for every day of the month (30). Each chapter starts with a title with a corresponding scripture, then a page titled "Unshakable Hope", followed by a page titled "Promised from God" which include a few scriptures, then a page titled "Praying God's Promises" which is an actual prayer for you to say if you wish, then finally an "I am..." page with a small paragraph about who you are according to the word of God. I have only had this book a couple of days, but I know it will become part of my daily prayers for years to come!

Praying the Promises by Max Lucado was certainly a good purchase in all the categories listed above. Even more so that I made additional purchases of the book after I had received my first shipment. You won't be disappointed.
