This classic 13 week interactive workbook takes readers on a journey to the biblical heart of prayer, clearing up many widely held misconceptions along the way. Jennifer Kennedy Dean shows readers how to have a powerful, ongoing connection to God that will invigorate every aspect of their lives. It's not about having a prayer life; it's about living a praying life.
She tackles the complex theological questions: If God is sovereign, why pray? If prayer is not a way to change God's mind, what is it? It's a way, she illustrates, for God to send His power and provision into the world through His people. The study takes a detailed look at prayer's purpose, process, promise, and practice.

Ask a Question▼▲
Q: Can this study stand alone without the DVD? I lead a lunch hour Bible study that meets once every other week. Discussion time takes up the entire hour, so there is no time left to view a DVD. We have done another one of Jennifer Kennedy Dean's studies (Set Apart), and we loved it!
Yes, this can be used as a stand-alone study. There is no mention of the DVD in this book.
Q: How many days a week are there assignments? How long will average person spend doing assignments each day?
Each weekly study includes 5 daily lessons that take 10 to 20+ minutes each, depending upon how deeply the student wants to pursue the concept being presented.
