This book literally changed my life! I had gone through Beth Moore's "Believing God" Bible study (in the first online Bible study group, in Fall, 2002). And, this was the second thing that I had/have read of hers, and it has been a truly life changing book, and continues to be as such, because she helps her readers learn how to "Pray Bible Scriptures" !!! Praying God's Word (Beth should take her own advice)

This book is right on target in so many ways, except for one . . . apparently Beth Moore doesn't believe the full gospel, that everything in the Bible is true. What?!?! I know, difficult to believe! Pg. 36 "we may not always be sure God wills to heal us physically in this life of every disease or prosper us with tangible blessings." Wrong - Jesus said it is always His will to heal. Isaiah predicts the works of the Messiah and tells us, "by His stripes, we are healed" and Peter confirms this by saying, "by His stripes you were healed." On pg. 17, speaking of a woman who didn't experience healing - "God chose to leave her a thorn in the flesh so that she could be taught His strength in her weakness." Nonsense! God is good, satan is evil. God does not put diseases on us. He tells us to move that mountain and receive what His body was broken for through faith and no unbelief. Study Paul's thorn in the flesh and discover it was the enemy constantly harassing him. Yes, we will have trials and tribulations, but God heals and prospers believers through faith. Read Mark 11:22-24. Healing and prosperity may not be for Beth, but Praise God, I've seen both in my life, coming back from a disease no one had the cure for. If you can eat the hay and spit out the sticks, there are redeemable passages in this book, but it does not support God's Word. Beth Moore - God has more for you than you are believing for!

Excellent, spot-on advice! In my opinion, one of Mrs. Moore's best books.
