I love the idea of a prayer journal, but I have had trouble finding one that I really love. I wanted one that gave me space to journal, but still be creative. I wanted one that would prompt me in several ways, not just pointing me towards one general direction. I wanted one that was like a journal in my thoughts but also let me keep my lists separate. Alas, my journal became what I turned to because I couldn't find any other option.

But then!

I ran across this journal: The Prayer Map for Women! I love it! It's simple, yet allows me to journal out my prayers. It has a section on the page for giving thanks. I have the ability to to keep a list of people I am praying for and why, too. Then it also has a section to write things I'm worried about, what's happening in my life, things I need, and even other things on my heart that I need to share with God. It's perfect!

My only wish for this journal is that it was bigger and included more pages. I feel like I will be buying a new one each month. I'd much rather it fit several months into a book....or even a year.

Even for the most faithful Christian, there are times when she feels that her prayers have become repetitive and shallow. Getting your prayer life back on track is the purpose of this beautiful journal. Each individual prayer map consists of two pages starting with the date and then addresses God with praise, intercession for others, concerns for yourself and a section for those things on the readers heart not covered by one of the other categories. The map provides a helpful guideline but also allows for creativity. A Bible verse about prayer concludes the days meditation. Not only did I find this journal helpful to jumpstart my prayer life, but Im looking forward to reviewing the entries I made to map my own faith journey.

This is a well-thought-out book. I find it to be a tool to channel my thoughts into prayer mode. While I was using just a notebook, I forgot some people or situations which I meant to include regularly. This book is always open, ready for a quickly-written name or circumstance which I want to bring before the Lord in a more quiet time. These pages "work" because they are attractive and appealing; it's a pleasure to jot down something on the pages. It enhances why I'm turning my focus to prayer time. Someone who doesn't really like to write may find it more daunting to see categories and empty lines on a page. I suggest that you give it a try; you may find it a tremendously helpful basket in which to gather your intentions for prayer. I bought one for every woman in my Bible Study group. I bought extras because I want another after I finish the pages in my first one.

I absolutely love this journal! It is not dated, so you can start it anytime you want. If you are like me, I don't have time to write in my journal everyday so this is perfect for my busy life.

I like the spiral binding on this which makes it easier to write flatter than other journals that I have used in the past. I also like that this is broken up into sections with ample space to record your thoughts in each. The size on this is perfect. It is small enough that is easily fits into a purse or backpack to take with you on the go.

I have already purchased several for friends, and I will definitely purchase something similar to this in the future.

I love this! I love being able to plot out my thoughts through the template. Easy to read, easy to follow. This is a great gift for a young woman to an adult. I love the spiral bound that it has.
