Product Description

In this compelling booklet, the author describes how Isaiah's encounter with God as the enthroned King brought him to a new awareness of his own sinfulness and of the depth of God's forgiveness. As a result, he was overwhelmed by the sovereignty of his holy Saviour and yielded his life to him without reservation. In the same way, writes the author, Calvinism is 'not ...whether you have read a book by... but involves self-examination, self-distrust, practical holiness and prayerful dependence on the Lord.

This is one of the most helpful, biblical and practical booklets that addresses what Biblical Calvinism is about. It is edifying, encouraging, and convicting. As you read this, you can't help but notice that this is a sermon...and that's good! It drives one to their knees and forces one to examine himself as to whether he/she has truly understood the essence of Reformed Theology and the True Gospel. God-centered in every aspect

Outstanding and deep booklet by the renown and intimidating Albert Martin. The best thing about Martin's preaching and writing is that he always implies LIVING deep theology, as well as explaining it with acute logic and conviction.

This seems to be a sermon, perhaps two sermons, preached by Pastor Martin. The booklet would have been improved with a bit more exegesis combined with more illustrations. But it was a good read, nonetheless.
