Words are powerful, often far more powerful than we acknowledge. We have the ability to use them for good or evil but sometimes it feels as though we do not have the patience or strength to choose which it will be. In her newly updated book, The Power of a Womans Words, Sharon Jaynes gives valuable insight to face this challenge. She gives real life stories and examples for relatability and directs readers to Gods word for foundational building blocks to pave a better path. From young children to adult children, friends to spouses, Sharon speaks to the heart of building each other up and encouraging one another to become the people God desires us to be.

Sharon so eloquently shows us in her book, The Power of a Woman's Words, how important it is for us to be on guard of the words that come out of our mouths. How these words not only affect ourselves but how they affect those around us. Be it children or adults. She shares scriptures to base her words on and helps us to recognize how our words can be words of encouragement or words that bring discouragement and hurt. Through her book, I was encouraged to "Get back to the ministry to which I am called." I would recommend any woman to read this book that wants a greater understanding of The Power of her words.

I've never read a book like this that entertained me and convicted me, all within the span of a few minutes! Sharon Jaynes has a writing style that pulls you in like a comfortable chat over the fence with your next door neighbor, while getting to the heart of the matter without being pushy or preachy! I especially appreciated the breakdown of each chapter, giving encouragement on how to use appropriate words in all the relationships of life. 'The Power of a Woman's Words' will be a resource I come back to often! I highly recommend it to women seeking to bring light to dark places thru Spirit-seasoned speech!

Sharon Jaynes writing always comes alive as I read her books and this book is no different! The Power of a Women's Words is a helpful reminder that the words that we say have an impact on others for the good or for the bad. She masterfully uses stories to demonstrate the Biblical truth that she is teaching us. Her writing style is one that is easy to read, and makes it so that you cannot put it down! The truths that Sharon shares is such a powerful reminder that our words matter and that we need to be making sure that we are impacting those around us for the positive in a way that exemplifies Christ. She reminds me that our words are like a currency that we can spend and not get back. In the time in which we live, this book needs to remind us that we must be encouraging others with our words in a way that shows Jesus!
