I purchased this book for my sister who has really been struggling with addictive thoughts, fear, etc. This has truly been a gift from God for her! It has brought her so much comfort, help and practical tips to turn her thinking around. I truly believe that God led me to this book. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with strongholds of fear.
Pastor Prince teaches the truth about Grace, the Gospel & person of Jesus Christ. People need to know that God is not angry with them. People are in need of the knowledge of God's favor, mercy & blessing for them. He explains how believing the right thing can change you effortlessly. We are not sinners in the hands of an angry God. We are seen as righteous & beloved of God because of the Cross & Blood of Jesus. We are now living under Grace, not Law. We don't have to earn or deserve anything from God. We just have to believe & receive because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Guilt & condemnation of the Law have been replaced with the freely given Grace & Truth of Jesus Christ. God is for us, not against us. God is righteous & holy. He forgives sin when we accept Jesus as Savior because Jesus paid the price for us. We are redeemed & not condemned. Receiving such love, grace & mercy removes our desire to willfully sin because of our love for Jesus & what He has done for us at the Cross. If saving GRACE were preached today, churches would be filled & more people would come to the salvation of Jesus.
In his positive way, Joseph Prince brings fresh applications of Bible truths of living in the grace of God and having victory through Christ Jesus. Although many Christians feel they know it because they have been walking a long time with Our Lord Jesus Christ, they still seem to be heavyladen by the cares of the world and are still trying to accomplish victory on their own. Joseph Prince brings home this concept that we can only do it with and in Christ. Afterall His yoke is easy and His burden is light! I recommend this book even to those walking for a long time so that they can remind themselves that it is Christ performing through them not them performing for Christ.
