c3 Stars Out Of 5cJanuary 5, 2016cQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0compared to the playschool that my son had 27 years ago, the pegs on this one are so loose. too easy to pull pegs out by hand.
sundog3 Stars Out Of 5Pound a PegJanuary 28, 2015sundogSome of the pegs are smaller than others and slip through the holes without pounding them. Either that or the holes have not been consistently drilled the same size. I expect more from Melissa & Doug.

ShamrockMarietta GAAge: 55-65Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Disappointment - pegs simply fall throughJanuary 8, 2014ShamrockMarietta GAAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 2Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2Some of the holes in the "bench" are so large that the pegs simply drop through...no hammer required. The whole point of the toy is to have the hammering. I would have preferred the pegs be too tight rather than too loose...just right would have been really nice. Very disappointed in the functionality. Other than that, appeared to be well assembled; colors were bright as pictured, etc.
GregHarrisburg, PAAge: 55-65Gender: male2 Stars Out Of 5Not what we expected.February 7, 2013GregHarrisburg, PAAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 2Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2Given that the pegs just fell out without using the hammer, we had to reorder, but given they gave us free shipping and didn't want the item returned, it was okay. The new one worked much better. But certainly not the quality we expected from Melissa & Doug toys.
