AndyAge: 25-34Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Simple but intuitiveMarch 23, 2013AndyAge: 25-34Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4This review was written for A Popular Survey of the New Testament. It is a great work from a faithful man of faith.
I did expect it to be a little bit more in depth than it is. But at the same time, like the fact that it sticks to the Bible and doesn't venture off too much into the secular parallels like some of the other Bible survey books.
Overall, would recommend to any everyday Bible student. -
Randy Fisher4 Stars Out Of 5February 3, 2010Randy FisherThis review was written for A Popular Survey of the New Testament.I find this 2-set volume to be very brief but concise for the average lay person who desires a quick, right to the point, reference book on both, the Old and New Testament of the Bible. However, for the more indepth study of the Bible, for the more advanced student, these 2 volumes are not intended to reach into the more thorough depths of Bible study. I would recommend this set to the "everyday" type of Christian as a handy study, reference, resource.

Rev. Elbert Joseph3 Stars Out Of 5April 21, 2009Rev. Elbert JosephThis review was written for A Popular Survey of the New Testament.Geisler's survey of the New Testament is a treasure - packed with useful information and guidance for both the casual reader and the teacher. This book makes the necessary connections to Jesus everywhere. There is no shortage of helpful background to the various divisions of the New Testament. Maps, tables and charts bring the concerts home for the reader. "Survey" covers much more than the usual introductory data and for this reason I highly recommend this book.
