Point of Danger is the first book in Irene Hannon new series, Triple Threat.

Eve Reilly popular radio host has become someone's target. First she begins to receive death threats, then a fake bomb show up. Someone doesn't like what Eve has to say and they want to silence her.

Detective Brent Lange is assigned to Eve's case and works tirelessly to find who threatening Eve, while trying to ignore the growing attraction between them.

Brent and Eve made a very cute couple. Eve's personality revels her to be a passionate and outgoing. As a radio host she is used to putting it all out there and stand for what she believes. Brent, on the other hand, plays his cards very close to the vest and keeps his thoughts and opinions to himself. It was wonderful to see how they worked with each other, draw on each other's strengths and help each other with their weaknesses. I thought they were a wonderful couple.

The story was something I really enjoyed. It was more of a suspense story, rather than relying on action to carry the plot along. It was well written with a great storyline that does keep the reader engaged.

If there was a down side, I would have to say that in my opinion there was to many different characters and subplots. I know that the author wanted to through out twists and red herrings, but I tend to enjoy books that disguise characters, but not necessarily need a lot of different name to keep them hidden. This for me personally was way to confusing.

However I'm sure that other readers will not have a problem with this.

Yes I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes the suspense and clean romance.

This was a very good read. I enjoyed the characters, the mystery and suspense. I think a person would enjoy this book no matter what type of book they read. I am partial to Westerns but I had read a few books by Hannon in the past and decided to read another.

Irene Hannon's Point of Danger is another great story by one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. She has crafted a story filled with danger and page-turning suspense with believable, well-developed characters. The storyline could easily have come from accounts of present-day events.

One of my favorite parts of reading suspense is trying to figure out "who-dun-it" when the answer is not apparent too early in the story. This one definitely hit the mark for me. Without giving any spoilers, my advice to anyone reading this book is to look for twists and expect the unexpected! And of course, there is just the right level of romance that follows the continuing suspense.

I highly recommend Point of Danger to fans of great inspirational romantic suspense. I am anxiously awaiting the next story in the Triple Threat series, due to be released in a few months.

    Point of Danger

    Triple Threat #1

    By Irene Hannon

Eve Reilly has angered someone to a new extreme - a package at her home that is more than a little suspicious. Even worse it is the first in a string of escalating threats and attacks. Someone wants to silence her forever - it's just a question of who.

Brent Lange is a new detective with the police department when he catches Eve Reilly's case. But each incident provides more questions than answers. And with each incident, he finds himself more determined to catch her hater before it is too late.

This is one case that will leave you guessing as to the final outcoming.

Those familiar with Irene Hannon's previous works of Romantic Suspense won't be surprised that there is a fair bit of romance (all clean) throughout the suspense. But overall it is a fairly good read. When you think you know where the story is going it takes an unexpected turn and you are left wondering just how you got here. This book is the first in a new series - Triple Threat - but it is not a cliffhanger so no need to worry about the story leaving you hanging. The story itself is all wrapped up within the covers of this book. If you are looking for an escape into a world, not your own this could be your means to do so. So find a comfortable corner and grab your favorite cup of tea (or coffee) and a cookie or two and enjoy.

And there may be a character or two from Irene's previous series - after all, it takes place in St. Louis.
