Publisher's Description

The Psalms in the Bible can sometimes be difficult to understand. What is the Psalmist really trying to say? Here is one person's perception of that, but each Psalm is written as a rhyming poem. This book is designed to be read one Psalm at a time. Read the Psalm from the Bible, and then read the poem to get a lay person's perspective of how the Psalmist might be conveying his or her feelings to the Lord. Hopefully, this book will allow the word of God to speak to you in a new way, and you will have a fuller appreciation of these beautiful prayers and praises that were written thousands of years ago. Justine Gardiner McNabb was born and raised in Moorestown, New Jersey, but she has spent the last 40 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the mother of two adult children, and she retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 2008 where she was an Office Management Assistant. She has taught Bible lessons to both children and adults at her current church, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she is also in the Bell Choir, on several committees, and on the Pre-School Board. In the past, she was involved in Kairos Prison Ministry, and for the last five years she has been a mentor for the ladies who live at A Peaceful Habitation, a Christian transitional home for ladies who have recently been released from incarceration. In addition, Justine is on the Board of Directors of Child Evangelism Fellowship of New Mexico.
