365 Pocket Morning Prayers provides a template prayers for 365 days of the year. Each prayer is set under a specific topic of life. Through using the daily prayers it helps the reader discover their own prayer style that is personalized to their own relationship with God. Each prayer starts off with a topic and subtopic, immediately followed by the daily prayer and scripture verse to meditate on throughout the day. All 365 prayers are printed on quality pocket-sized paper wrapped within an imitation leather cover.

I have found the prayers to be encouraging and helpful in creating my own daily prayers; as well as adding to the prayers with my own personalized conversation with God. 365 Pocket Morning Prayers is a great way to start off our own prayers and give us confidence in speaking directly to God. In addition, the collection of prayers are encased in quality imitation leather in a portable size meant for travel anywhere. I recommend 365 Pocket Morning Prayers.

This attractive little book is a great devotional. You can use it as a day by day devotional or if you have something you want to pray through or about, you can turn to that instead. Sometimes devotionals can feel overwhelming, but this was is not.

Each page has 1 or 2 days on it, with prayer and scripture that is written out for you. Instead of going month by month, it just goes day by day. For example Day 1, 2 etc. That way if you start in the middle of the year, you don't feel like you are behind. Each day is a new day. If you miss a day, that is ok too. I love this because sometimes devotionals can bring guilt because you feel like you are falling behind. The format of this book, helps you not to feel this. The back has a topical index, so if you are going through something you can just turn to that page and pray and read scripture for that subject.

This is great for yourself or as a gift. Especially for someone who doesn't know where to start.

Thank you Tyndale House for letting me review 365 Pocket Morning Prayers.

Easy to read devotional and wonderful to use if you are needing a daily morning routine established. There are different topics each day with a prayer and scripture reference attached. There are not any dates so you can start when you need to and finish when you want to. It covers all types of topics and if you are not needing it trust me someone you know will need it and you might be able to help them.

I find the short devotionals are a great way to get my mind settled and my heart ready to dig deeper into the Word.

Each day has a devotion and then a short prayer. It is set up to go through it one day at a time but I found that often the prayers did not line up with what was happening in my life. Because of this, I found the topical index useful and I just looked up a subject and use the prayer for that day.

As the prayers are related to the topic being discussed, they may not have applied directly to my needs, but they certainly inspired me to pray about others and their situations.

    Book Description:

Each morning when you arise, take a moment to talk with God about the day ahead. Ask Him to prepare your heart so that you can be ready to face any challenge that comes your way. 365 Pocket Morning Prayers can guide this time of life-changing conversation and help you express your needs and concerns to God. Dont worry about what the day will bring. Instead, release your troubles and concerns into Gods care by reading and meditating on the prayers featured in 365 Pocket Morning Prayers. Begin your day in joyful anticipation, trusting that God is in control of your life and wants only the best for you.

I think this devotional book could be a good source of information and support if you are looking for something specific..perhaps to minister to a friend in need. Having the right words doesn't always come easy and the printed prayers along with the scriptural references would be helpful when sending a card or note.

What about you? How do you get into the Word when your day is jammed packed?

I received a copy of this book from Tyndale Publishers as a member of their Blogger Program.

I love this book, not only is it a handsome, leatherbound, small purse sized book, it is brutally honest. The prayers in this book are not flowery prose, or poetic verses. They are honest, gut wrenching thoughts and issues you and I face each day. From topics like controlling our tempers to complaining, these prayers will cause you to honestly examine your heart. I also enjoy the fact the days are not dated, just numbers 1-365. I see this book being a wonderful companion to my devotion time.

This book was given to me by the publisher, I am not required to post a positive review, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
