This is not a good dictionary. My church, for mother's day, gave the mother's bible dictionaries. I ordered all of the used dictionaries I could find. I read a bunch. This book will give context for an item in the bible, but not tell you what the word means or it's translation. If you see a word in scripture your bible will already give all the information this book has. The size of the book is not the issue. In fact when you read what it calls definitions you'll see that a bunch of those words in the "definitions" are uninformitive filler. As I read some entries I was thinking my grade school teachers would have corrected and or rejected the non definitions. They do give some information, but if you want to know what a word means this will just make you mad. Like a supervisor repeating your question and telling you what you already know instead of answering your question. I want to find something like a nelson's or a Vine's this size. If you compare side by side and stop at the same number of words, you'll see. The bindings seem good, the print is clean and they are the perfect size for travel. They just aren't good dictionaries. This site has better dictionaries. I'd be afraid that it might discourage someome who is starting to seek and study.
