This is a bright colorful Bible storybook. My children enjoy looking at the pictures. The stories are 4-6 paragraphs on one page. Our family reads the Bible after supper. We have been through one Children's Bible Storybook and I was looking for another one. I wanted something fresh for this year. This Bible Storybook has been great. My children enjoy the stories -- they aren't too long -- and find the pictures interesting.

The only drawback is that at times, the stories can be almost too brief. For instance in the story of Cain and Abel, the author doesn't explain why God rejects Cain's offering but accepts Abel's. If you have inquisitive children or children who are older, you may want to be prepared to provide more details.

It seems hard to find a Bible for kids that digs deep, but this one does. I love how it helps connect the stories and message of scripture across the Old and New Testament. The references at the bottom of the page are a welcome addition that many story Bibles have missed. The writing is simple enough for kids to follow, but rich in theology. The illustrations are absolutely stunning! I am so glad to have this to read with my kids.

i bought 100 of these to give away to families, to read to their children or grands. A beautifully done book by Dr. Wright and his illustrator. Stories taken directly from scripture is a plus to me, in knowing they are accurate. This one is superb.
