Product Description

Guide your young students to an elementary knowledge of the piano. . . and towards hearing themselves play real songs!

Ten lessons combine early theory and basic techniques to help children progress to an early music reading ability. Large-size notes and grand staff notation make reading easier, while interspersed Bil Keane 'Family Circle' comics provide a light tone. Book 2 continues building upon previously learned concepts through providing more songs in the now already-familiar key of G. New topics include the key of F, extended hand positions with six-note melodies, IV chords in all keys, dotted rhythms, dynamics, staccato, legato, and two-note & longer phrases.

Preschool - Grade 3 (ages 4-9). 46 pages, softcover. 11" x 8 3/8".

"I love these books because they work! I have been using them for many years with children 4 years old and up. The big notes make note learning easy and the directions for teachers are clear and methodical. My students and their parents are excited as they graduate from one level to the next. These books truly teach little fingers to play! Thank you, Ann Patrick Green!" — Carol Orozco, Fullerton, California
