Kodken5 Stars Out Of 5A Great way to learn phonetic skillsJuly 9, 2015KodkenQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I like using the plaid phonics series as it gives you practice with learning a specific phonetic skill within their units of study. There is just enough practice provided in the book. It pairs nicely with the Spelling Workout series, as they use the same words and nicely overlap with each other. I use both series together. It is also a great resource for students who are ESL. I highly recommend any book in the phonics series.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a workbook. While many phonics programs end at grade 3, it's important to continue teaching these concepts and in greater detail so the children retain all of the important lessons.
