Author Bio

J.M. Barrie (1860–1937) was a Scottish novelist and playwright. After finishing school in Scotland, he moved to London, where he met the five Llewelyn Davies boys, whom he originally told the tale of Peter Peter. In 1904, Barrie wrote the play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, which was very successful and led to him writing the books we know today. Upon his death, he gave the rights to Peter Pan to London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital, a children’s hospital.

Victoria Tentler-Krylov grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and studied architecture and urban design at Cooper Union and Columbia University. A practicing architect now living outside Boston, Victoria is continually inspired by urban landscapes but also by fantasy, possibility, and imagination. In addition, she is influenced by the commercial art and children's books from the 1950s and 60s, with their economy of line and creative use of white space. Victoria's artwork has been published by Pink Giraffe Books in Russia and by The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and Flutter Magazine in the U.S.

Charles Nurnberg has been a publisher for 45 years.
