MARIO DEMATTEO is a storyteller, a comic book creator, a poet, and an urban farmer. In 2014, Mario’s whole life was flipped upside down when he incurred a permanent spinal cord injury, confining him to a wheelchair. Through the grace of God, perseverance, an amazing family and friends, and a whole lot of prayer, Mario found a calling in comic books and graphic novels as a powerful way to spread literacy and the Gospel of Jesus. BEN AVERY is a children’s pastor by day and a comic book writer by night. A believer in the need for positive, all-ages entertainment, Ben Avery has written over thirty graphic novels for children. Ben lives in Mishawaka, Indiana, with his wife and five children.
MARK HARMON is a professional illustrator for children’s books, comics, comics for kids, and anything in between. He currently lives in the small town of Mountain View, Wyoming, with his wife and three kids. Mark’s professional career started at the age of ten when he won a coloring contest. He’s been drawing ever since.
