How can she be supportive and yet be the protective big sister too? It seems Nate is the only one available for any advice-giving, and hes good at itand pretty fun to talk to, too. Amelia and Nate strike up an online relationship, but always lingering in Amelias mind is the fear that hell realize shes not nearly as appealing in real life.

The NerdHerd Reads3 Stars Out Of 5fun, cute storyNovember 4, 2015The NerdHerd ReadsQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I loved this one. It was fun and cute. I am more than ready for fall to come, and this one perfectly sets the tone for fall. I love stories set in flower shops (almost as much as bakeries) and so this was just perfect.
Amelia owns a flower shop in a quaint little town. She's quite happy with her life, until she rear-ends a guy... while spying on her ex's wedding. She quickly flees the scene, but this starts up an email exchange with the guy, who is cute and fun and just great to talk to. But she hasn't told him who she is or what she was doing that day.
I loved Amelia. She was fun and spunky and totally honest about the fact that she was a young cat lady, more than content to spend her days with her flowers and her nights with her cat and Netflix. I loved the email exchanges. They were fun and cute and I loved their interactions.
I will say, I feel like a big deal was made out of the brother's fiance thing, and then it was dropped with no resolution. I mean, there was kinda, but not really. I also felt like the whole ex's wedding thing was drawn out too much. But other than this was a super fun and cute story and I loved every minute of it.
GHott5 Stars Out Of 5It was over WAY TOO SOON!October 3, 2015GHottQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I LOVED The Perfect Arrangement!!
I loved everything about this, the story, the characters, the romance. Its an all-around great afternoon read. Amelia has had what many would consider a rough life, but she smiles and keeps moving forward with a positive attitude. She also manages to get herself into some funny but real predicaments.
One of my favorite things about the book are the references to old movies. The romance and fun in their personalities really shines through in these illustrations.
MelanieGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A great read and I recommend the book!September 27, 2015MelanieGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 0Meets Expectations: 5Katie Ganshert has done it again! Like her novella in the first Year of Weddings collection, I loved the story! The characters were great, I loved the emails, and I also thought the ending was lovely. ;)
While not everything was 100% resolved by the end of the story, none of that bothered me (because they weren't major things) and there really wasn't anything about this novella I didn't like. A great read and I recommend The Perfect Arrangement for contemporary romance fans.

SuzieNashville, TNAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Perfect Fall REadSeptember 17, 2015SuzieNashville, TNAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As I write this review, Im in Dallas, Texas for the ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) conference. This is my first one and Im excited to learn from many of the authors Ive reviewed here on my blog. For the next three days, Ill be meeting other authors, listening in on panels, and attending classes to help improve my own craft. Many of the writers here have contributed to the Year of Weddings novella series over the past two years. And I was so excited to see Octobers author on the list this year. Ive only learned of and read Katie Ganshert last year when I read A Broken Kind of Beautiful but have not been disappointed in anything Ive read of hers thus far. Including.
On the day of her exs wedding, Amelia Woods cant help but take a peak. Her best friend accuses her of sitting on the sidelines in her small Wisconsin town as the owner of a flower shop her mother once owned, unwilling to experience life.
When she runs into someone elses car while surveying the group of people in front of the church, shes horrified and hurriedly flees the scene before her stepsisters see her. Her stepsisters who, by the way, are in the wedding.
She and the owner of the car strike up an email correspondence because of an email address fail and are soon conversing about more than the fender bender. Amelias confused about her brothers engagement and believes she saw something that will break her brothers heart. Shes always looked after him and doesnt want to see him hurt.
As Amelia and Nick grow to know each other via the computer, they also learn that maybe love can blossom even with distance.
This story has a little bit of a Youve Got Mail feel to it. A fun communication between the main characters, some quirky and embarrassing (for Amelia) incidents, and the beginnings of love. While reading this novella, I felt like I was in the flower shop right alongside Amelia as she made the bouquets. And her regular Monday customer, George, is a throwback to days when gentlemen were the rule, not the exception. His story within the main story was an added bonus.
The Perfect Arrangement really is a great way to spend an evening. If youre a rom com fan, definitely pick this one up (Available Sept. 29).

It reminds me of a favorite movie, when two people meet in a chat room and begin emailing one another. After watching the movie, I tried this a few times, but the people I met didnt want a pen pal so while I still enjoyed watching the movie, I stopped looking for pen pals.
Amelia and Nate actually meet in person; the first time, of course, is when Amelia bumps into his car. Since shes trying to get away quickly, she gives him her business card and asks him to contact her. And so it begins
What happens next is well, my idea of a wonderful beginning to a lasting friendship and maybe more! These are fun, entertaining characters with the same problems that many of us go through.
One very fun, quirky, bit is centered on Nates email address what does the number 24 stand for? Nate wont tell Amelia, but suggests she guess so far, she hasnt guessed right, but they both have a great time with it.
I loved this story! Its an easy, quick read, and leaves you with a good feeling when youre done. But dont take my word for it get a copy of your own and read it for yourself!
