The movie is just amazing! I am a children's bible school teacher and we are study the amazing life of Paul. I showed the movie to kids ages 6-11 and they love it! I was a little worried at first with being a 54 minute movie but the movie kept the kids excited and focused. The kids were pointing-out part of the movie that we have read from the bible and have learned. Excellent!
I ordered the DVD on the Apostle Paul with the Jesus of Nazareth. Both have my same complaint. The subject of baptism was very mis represented. I veiwed Jesus of Nazareth first and found that his baptism was done by pouring . Baptism in scripture is by immersion, the word baptism means immersion. Romans 6 that was written by Paul teaches baptism as a burial. The idea of pouring and sprinkling came in centuries after the turn of the first century. With the DVD about Paul at his conversion everything but his baptism was shown. Acts 9 tells of his conversion and verse 18 of his baptism. I gave up at that point assumeing it wasn't mentioned else where.I understand that Christian Books is not totally responsible for such misinterpretations, but it would be good if they could check out some of the material before distribution. Thankyou for hearing me out.Ronnie Talbert
