Donna Bordelon Alder writes from an undertanding and caring perspective. She also uses many studies that she and others have done on this subject to present a wide-ranging background for giving a pastor's wife the help that she might need. She speaks to the role, sometimes to the plight, and always to the soul and life of the wife of a pastor. I am not a pastor's wife, but this book has helped me to have a better understanding of my pastor's wife and to be a better member of her congregation. The book is very "readable." As I have read it, it has become a devotional ministering to the hurts and needs of my own soul. I am positive that any woman would find this book to be helpful!
