Few professions draw as much scrutiny as the pastorate. Yet each week men and women called by God steadfastly lead their congregations - all the while dealing with the wide variety of hurts that exist in any church. It can be a lonely profession, as the pastor struggles with his or her own deepest needs and wants.
Veteran pastor and district superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene, C. Neil Strait has written this book of 30 devotionals to provide the encouragement needed by pastors of large and small congregations alike. With gentle insight, he challenges pastors to remain faithful to the holy call of God and embrace the challenge of shepherding their flock.
From a veteran pastor, 30 substantial, insightful devotionals provide encouragement and hope to pastors as they embrace the daily challenges of ministry.
