Of all the disciplines of the Christian life, prayer is perhaps the most neglected. Yet Jesus’ brief earthly life was permeated with it. A Passion for Prayer seeks to help you develop—or deepen—your communion with God. Drawing on personal experience and God’s Word, Pastor Tom Elliff shares principles for daily coming before the throne of grace.

Nathan Lino5 Stars Out Of 5Highly RecommendAugust 8, 2015Nathan LinoQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've read several helpful books on prayer. But, if I could only recommend one, without a doubt this is the one I'd recommend. It goes far beyond merely talking "to" God by teaching how to talk "with" God and find intimacy with the Father. This book will change the way you approach God and guide you to the path where you will actually meet with God in a very real way.
Excellent for both personal reading and small group bible study.
happy5 Stars Out Of 5July 8, 2011happyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5One of the greatest books I have ever read on prayer. Our prayer meeting group is now reading and discussing it and I am mentoring a girl one -on-one using the book. But above all, it has definitely been a great encouragement in my own prayer life.

His life experiences and examples drove the truths of the bible straight to my heart. At the end of each chapter he challenges the reader to consider some pointed questions. I approached the book and these questions prayerfully, expecting God to teach me more about having an intimate relationship with Him. I received a blessing and grew in the knowledge of God, prayer and myself.
