If God has a perfect vision for your life, why does spiritual growth seem so difficult? Pastor and bestselling author John Ortberg has some intriguing answers to that question, and he has organized his thoughts and God's words into a straightforward and timely guide for living your best life in The Me I Want to Be. In this study you will learn how God's perfect vision for you starts with a powerful promise. All those who trust in God "will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit" (Jeremiah 17:7-8). Ortberg urges you to recognize your brokenness, understand that God is the project manager, and follow His directions. He also helps gauge your spiritual health and measure the gap between where you are now and where God intends you to be. The Me I Want To Be Participants Guide is a guidebook to the great task and joy of your life … becoming Gods best version of you. Designed for use with the video.

ShooterPhoenix, AZAge: Over 65Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Good BUT!April 11, 2012ShooterPhoenix, AZAge: Over 65Gender: maleIt is good but you should have the book! Was disappointed as most other DVD lessons have enough material in the workbook and on the DVD. This one relies on you also having the book. I hope not to sell more books. I bought one so I could teach it better now I have to see if the class wants to spend the extra money for the book. Would be better as a stand alone.
KarenAge: 45-54Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5You need to buy the book with this DVD study kitJanuary 10, 2011KarenAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 3Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3In past Ortberg studies, our group has determined they could use the DVD and the Participant guide and successfully conduct a weekly study, but with this study the participants feel as though they are experiencing gaps in the materials. A participant that purchased the book feels that the book fills in the gaps and is needed.
