Michelle SuttonArizonaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5November 25, 2007Michelle SuttonArizonaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleThis is by far the most practical, useful, and insightful book I've ever read in regards to parenting. Teens are the hardest to understand, but everything in For Parents Only makes total sense. I have two teenage boys and the scenarios describe them to a "T" to the point where I had to laugh. They really are typical teens. The tidbits of wisdom in this reader-friendly book are incredible and the advice should work if applied correctly. In fact, I tried a few things myself and the results were amazing. :)Here are the chapter titles... Looking in on growing up, Rebel with a cause, Who are you?, The good thing about being the bad guy, I will be here for you, Can you hear me now?, Attitude adjustment, and In case you ever wonder. Now don't those chapter topics make you want to reference it? It's a quick read, but I guarantee if you get it you'll not only want to go back and review the subject matter every once in awhile, you'll want to get copies for your friends, too.

Shirley Hutton5 Stars Out Of 5January 2, 2008Shirley HuttonOMG! This book is so overwhemingly great. I have a 15 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. I was going crazy trying to understand what was going on in my son's head and why he was making the choices he was making. I knew I had raised him to know the difference between right and wrong, how could I have been so far off? Was this all my fault? These were questions that were going on in my own head.I believe my son really appreciated the fact that I was trying to understand him more. If you have teenagers or even if you have younger kids that will someday be teenagers, this book is a total must.A great big thank you to the authors that went to such great lengths to really get inside the heads of what has to be the hardest people in the world to understand. Being moms yourselves, you know how invaluable this information really is.

TandFalu75RIAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5EXCELLENTMarch 6, 2012TandFalu75RIAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I am only in the beginning of reading this book. However, what I have read so far has been very informative and helpful. As , I have a Freshmen that just entered H.S. and find that this book is going to be most helpful in the journey ahead in helping him to grow in an understanding of who he is in Christ, as a young man living in a world that is opposed to Righteous living. As a parent, it is definitely going to be helpful to me in understanding what my son is going through and to be able to have better communication with him.
