This book is an excellent tool to understanding your child's mind and what a parent can do to cope and thrive during the adolescent years. If you are suffering and need direction and hope, this book offers God-centered understanding and encouragement. Having experienced a dark and difficult season with my own child, this book has given me a grasp of hope and enlightenment.

I felt this book was disorganized and didn't follow a theme. The first chapter was very good, and then sort of fell apart after that.

I would (and have) recommend this book to any parent who is in pain over their adult child. This book will not only give you hope but it will release you from the burden of condemnation. It will help you to realise that no matter where you were as you were raising your child, that child as an adult must take responsibility for their own life. You can be forgiven for everything that MIGHT have contributed to your child's problems but it will also help you to see that God is the perfect Father and He still has problems with His kids!
