Leading Others Through Biblical Examples
Christian leadership, when done correctly, is selfless, and its purpose is to benefit others, even at the risk of harming the leader. A Christian leader should be willing to step out of one’s comfort zone to speak out, step up, and put self-interest to the side for the betterment of others and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
God did not intend for the Christian life to be silent, keeping our faith and purpose dormant. We are called to go and make disciples by our actions of advocacy through leadership. God has given us examples all throughout His Word of this type of leadership. This week, we will spend time studying a few of these leaders who decided to Lead Out Loud, regardless of their own personal risk, to be obedient to God’s call and further His purpose and Kingdom. Through this study, we can all learn how to be better verbal advocate leaders for others.
