      The first season opens with a young daughter, her father and a reference to Isaiah 43:1.

      Twenty-eight years later, this girl - now a woman - becomes the first miracle we see in The Chosen. Jesus redeems her life, for he has "Called her by name" and we have just met Mary, from Magdala.
