Too early to shop for Christmas? Not this year . . .
COVID-19 has undoubtedly shaped this year's events, and it is shaping how we prepare for Christmas at Christianbook. We have already experienced a significant increase in sales due to the surge in online shopping. We anticipate this increase will continue and will directly impact our distribution center, which will be running at maximum capacity during normal Black Friday and Cyber weeks.
To assist with the added workload, employees from our personalization team will temporarily relocate to our distribution center to focus on shipping orders. Therefore, Bible imprinting, embroidery, and laser engraving will only be available for orders placed on or before November 4th. You can read more about our personalization services HERE. We are also actively recruiting seasonal employees despite current hiring and training challenges.
Based on e-commerce predictions, Christmas purchases will stretch delivery providers such as FedEx and UPS beyond capacity. Consequently, we are working hard to place packages into the carriers' hands as quickly as possible.
As always, we remain committed to following social distancing guidelines and maintaining the highest safety level possible for existing and new employees.
We can’t say it enough. Shop now to get your order on time.
COVID-19 may affect how you shop and how we operate, but it cannot diminish the true meaning of Christmas, which lives in hearts and not in packages.
