Product Selection

|

Christianbook.com prides itself on offering customers the very best in Christian products at the best prices. When discussing Christianbook.com's product selection, it might be useful for you to understand our philosophy behind it. Because we attract and service a wide range of customers (from pastors to homemakers, and seminary students to parents) whose interests and theological tastes can vary enormously, we sometimes carry products that contradict each other. We don't want to become a theological or social "censor" of the books we carry, but we also try to remain selective. It is this kind of diversity in selection that has become a trademark of our company. If you'd like to read a bit more about our position on this issue, take a look at this letter to our customers from Christianbook.com's President & CEO, Michelle Carrara.

Christianbook.com is the largest Christian retailer in the world, carrying more than 500,000 books, Bibles, DVDs, CDs, gifts, toys, games, and more.

Thank you for your interest in having Christianbook and Christianbook.com carry your product. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept unsolicited product queries, proposals, or manuscripts. We simply cannot accommodate the numerous requests we receive and we do not review any materials sent to us; but we'd be happy to suggest other resources for assistance.

First, let us recommend the Christian Writers' Market Guide by Sally E. Stuart. This helpful book details submission guidelines and procedures for all Christian publishing houses that will accept unsolicited manuscripts. In it you will find a wealth of information to help you with your goals.

Also, the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association offers a manuscript consideration service at ChristianBookProposals.com. All book proposals posted to this site are available for viewing by every member of ECPA, providing worthwhile exposure to many publishers.

Finally, you may want to browse the "Editorial Services" chapter in Literary Market Place, published annually by R.R. Bowker. The section lists more than 500 professional organizations, many of which provide critique services relating to content, presentation, and marketing.

At Christianbook.com we strive to provide our customers with as much information as possible about each and every product we carry. If there are any products that you would like more information about, please feel free to call us at 1-800-CHRISTIAN, email us at customer.service@christianbook.com, or leave a question in the Q&A section of the product detail page. We will make every effort to provide you with the information you need as soon as we possibly can.

At Christianbook, we're dedicated to providing you with great value. If you find a lower price somewhere else, give us a call at 1-800-CHRISTIAN (1-800-247-4784). We'll do our best to match it whenever possible. Your satisfaction is our top priority, so don't hesitate to reach out!

At the top of every detail page there is an availability section which indicates whether a product is "In Stock." In the event that a title is not in stock we will provide an approximate date when it will be available to ship. Furthermore, after completing an order at Christianbook.com, you will receive an order confirmation including each product's availability. If a product is not in stock and you wish to pre-order that item, Christianbook.com will not charge your credit card until the product has been shipped out to you.
