Diagramming the Scriptures

Diagramming the Scriptures is a systematic approach to teaching sentence diagramming that also provides students with additional in-depth exposure to understanding Scripture. In each lesson, teachers will introduce the form, define new terms, show and explain examples, guide student practice using the included practice sheets, review, and assess student progress mastery using the included test sheet. A unit test is also provided.

In "Diagramming the Scriptures, Unit 1," students will memorize and master five diagramming formulas (subject + verb, subject + verb + direct object, etc.) and practice by writing sentences onto blank diagrams. An integrated review of parts of speech is also included. Unit 2 focuses on diagramming prepositions, direct adjectives, adverbs, infinitives, gerunds, appositives, and more. Units 3 & 4 focus on diagramming noun clauses, adjective clauses, adverb clauses, simple sentences, compound sentences, and complex sentences. Unit 5 is a cumulative test.

5 units. Answers are in the back of the book and are provided in the form of overlaid answers on full-page reproductions of the student worksheets.
