Breaking the Spanish Barrier Level One Beginner full-year course starts with introducing simple words and phrases that cover day-to-day vocabulary and conversations that include all the sounds of the Spanish language to help students develop an authentic accent. The remaining 12 lessons cover both grammar and usage focusing on building vocabulary and conversational skills.

Breaking the Spanish Barrier Level Two Intermediate full-year course begins with a review of grammar topics to strengthen your student’s understanding of the present, preterit (simple past), and imperfect verb tenses and moves on to more complex grammatical concepts like future, conditional, pluperfect, subjunctive, and other verb tenses; indefinite, demonstrative, and reflexive pronouns; and informal commands and comparisons.

Breaking the Spanish Barrier Level Three Advanced full-year course is ideal for students in their 3rd and 4th year of Spanish as it covers all the key grammar found on AP, SAT II, IB, and college placement tests. The course starts with a review of grammar topics covered in Levels One and Two and moves on to cover all perfect tenses; the subjunctive mood(including commands verbs of emotion, adverbial phrases);comparatives, the passive voice, if clauses, punctuation, uses of the infinitive; and advanced vocabulary focusing on adjectives, nouns, verbs, and idiomatic expressions.

The remaining lessons provide instruction in both grammar and usage focusing on building vocabulary and conversational skills. Students will also learn up-to-date cultural information and maps on countries like Mexico, Spain, Argentina, and Peru.

¡En Camino! Beginner B is a full-year course that appeals to all learning styles. The course starts with a review of the vocabulary and grammar covered in the Beginner A course. The remaining lessons provide instruction in both grammar and usage focusing on building vocabulary and conversational skills. Students will also become familiar with up-to-date cultural information and maps on countries like Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile, Nicaragua, and several more.
