Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum

Introduce your second graders to some of the most important men in history---our nation's presidents! From George Washington to Bill Clinton, students will learn about each man's heritage, personal background, presidential highlights---and faith. Each unit features an important quote, interesting facts and sayings, and quizzes. Includes a separate softcover Answer key from Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum. Grade 2.

A traditional history program, this curriculum from Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum provides students with examples of success, failure, victories and defeats through the stories of the "famous men" of history-both great and inhumane.

Written from a conservative Christian perspective, this curriculum approaches history as revealing the sovereignty of God in the affairs of men. In this grade 3 course, students will learn about Christopher Columbus, Native Americans, Pilgrims, Roger Williams, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Noah Webster, Eli Whitney, Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Edison, and others.

Two textbooks are included, one for each semester. Each week includes five lessons; the first is a set of vocabulary words students must define from the glossary & use to complete fill-in-the-blank sentences. The second lesson features the text to read for the week and concludes with comprehension questions. Lesson 3 includes additional questions related to the content, Lesson 4 has a "think about it!" and writing activity, and Lesson 5 is the weekly test. Four review weeks are also integrated.

A separate packet of loose-leaf pages for teachers includes the line-listed answer key for the student books, the weekly quizzes, and quiz answers.

This traditional history and geography program from Landmark's Freedom Baptist Curriculum (LFBC) provides students with a study of the world and its people.

Written from a conservative Christian perspective, this curriculum approaches history as revealing the sovereignty of God in the affairs of men. This Grade 4 History curriculum focuses on the study of the fifty-states. Two textbooks are included, one for each semester. Each week includes five lessons; the first is a set of vocabulary words and a text selection for students to read and use to complete fill-in-the-blank sentences. The second lesson features another text to read with comprehension questions. Lesson 3 features map work or geography-based questions, Lesson 4 includes multiple choice questions and a Scripture memory component, and Lesson 5 is the weekly test. Each week includes five lessons; the first is a set of vocabulary words and a text selection for students to read and use to complete fill-in-the-blank sentences. The second lesson features another text to read with comprehension questions. Lesson 3 features map work or geography-based questions, Lesson 4 includes multiple choice questions and a Scripture memory component, and Lesson 5 is the weekly test. Four review weeks are also integrated.

The Tests and Quizzes booklet is glue-bound for easy removal of tests. 35 weekly quizzes and four quarter tests are included.

Recognizing that the universe was planning and ordered by God, Landmark Christian Academy's world history program is designed to help students better understand ourselves and fellow man in relation to our culture and the cultures of the world, while increasing knowledge of God. Creation through World War II is covered from a biblical perspective.

    Recognizing the sovereignty of God in the history of humanity, Landmark Freedom Baptist's world history program is designed to help students better understand the lessons of history from a Christian perspective. Moving from Creation through ancient civilization to the collapse of European Communism, the text takes a providential-history approach, quoting Rushdoony and approaching world religions as various manifestations of the ancient Babylonian Mystery Cult.
