Level 1

One of the greatest challenges with learning a foreign language is understanding the grammar; Daily Grammar Practice focuses specifically on this task with daily assignments that will help familiarize students with the grammatical structure of French. The Daily Grammar French Practice Series in its entirety is comprised of books for Levels 1-3 (each sold-separately).

This teacher's guide includes answers as well as lists of sentences for student use, which may be copied onto a board and written into a separate blank notebook. An optional Daily Grammar Practice Grade 1 French Student Workbook is available, which saves time re-writing assignments.

The French Level 1 curriculum covers identifying different forms of adjectives; identifying articles; gendered nouns; imperative forms; the present tense; and other grammatical concepts.

30-week program. Rather than individual topical lessons or units, students work with one sentence per week, and each day have a different task to accomplish with the sentence (e.g. on Mondays translate the sentence into English; on Tuesdays identify the main parts of the sentence; etc.).

Level 3

One of the greatest challenges with learning a foreign language is understanding the grammar; Daily Grammar Practice focuses specifically on this task with daily assignments that will help familiarize students with the grammatical structure of French. This Daily Grammar Practice Level 3 French Student Workbook features an introduction to the program, reference "help pages," and a separate page for each week's lesson that features the sentences from the teacher's guide. These optional workbooks help busy homeschoolers save time and energy by having lessons pre-written, rather than having students copy them into separate notebooks. Worksheets may be done as a class or individually.

The French Level 3 curriculum covers identifying demonstrative and possessive pronouns, causative construction, past infinitives, present participles, subjunctive verbs, and other grammatical concepts.

The Level 3 Teacher's Guide, as well as overhead CD-ROMs which can be used to project the lesson (no printing capabilities), are available separately.
