Simply Classical Level C

Simply Classical Curriculum: Level C - Animals, Alphabet, and Aesop is a year-long level in the Memoria Press special-needs classical readiness program. Please note that the levels for this program are: Level A (Ages 2-3), Level B (Ages 3-4), Level C (Ages 4-5), Level 1 (Ages 5-6), Level 2 (Ages 6-8). The age ranges refer to either chronological age or skill level.

This lesson plan guide contains only the lesson plans to use with the full set of books recommended for the Memoria Press Simply Classical Level C course. It cannot be used independently. The lesson plans are broken up into individual tasks for each subject for each day. For example, on Monday of Week 1, assignments are given for the subjects/periods: prayer, devotion, recitation, calendar, alphabet/writing, show and tell, number lesson, activity/craft, literature & language, poetry, enrichment or therapies, and a closing prayer. Each task has a checkbox to easily keep track of which assignments were completed. Lesson plans for an 8-week review are also provided.

A pre-test assessment is provided along with a rubric for parents to assess skills to be developed during the program.

Please note that this is a lesson plan book that helps parents plan and assign a group of resources (not included and sold-separately); it does not contain the teaching content itself.

Gently-paced, Simply Classical Level C presumes an acquaintance with letters, numbers, books, listening, and learning. Lessons will help you strengthen your child's readiness skills with an integrated emphasis on animals and the alphabet. All of the books, prayers, and songs included in this level can help you nurture your child's imagination, provide shared moments, initiate satisfying conversations, and strengthen your child's faith.
