This lesson plan book features an easy-to-follow grid-box format, with a box for each subject each day of each week. Within each subject-box, assignments are given, with checkboxes next to each one. 33 weeks in total are covered.

This guide also includes a recommended sample weekly schedule, suggested discussion questions, and a blank schedule for you to complete. The Appendix includes an opening and closing prayer, recitations organized by week (with answers), letter activities for phonics review, president's song lyrics, memory verses/the Story Bible verses, book lists (read-alouds, poetry, music/art, history/culture/science), supplemental phonics activities, supplemental grammar, suggestions for studying spelling words, phonics and spelling practice sheets, and spelling lists.
