Follow along with the lessons in the sold-separately Songschool Latin curriculum! Twenty-four lessons (one for each non-review lesson) feature a magistra and magister who narrate the vocabulary practice, grammar lessons, and derivative training. Simeon the Monkey will delight students with his animated story that incorporates many vocabulary words. An animated "river," also highlights the way in which many Latin words have come into other languages. Classical and Ecclesiastical pronunciations included. Each episode is approximately 10 minutes.

Classical Academic Press’ Song School Latin Volume 2 builds on the foundation laid in Song School Latin 1 (sold separately) with additional Latin vocabulary and an introduction to Latin grammar concepts. CAP’s Song School courses are an ideal way for children to develop a basic understanding of one of English's root languages. This 32-week course includes fill-in-the-blank stories, questions, written exercises, and songs to help students to remember it all. Review chapters are included every few weeks to encourage mastery. Online access to audio files for songs in both ecclesiastical and classical pronunciations is included on page 4. Glossary and verb charts are also included. Once completed, your young students will be prepared to move into CAP’s Latin for Children Primer A text (not included). This teacher's guide accompanies the sold-separately SongSchool Latin Book 2. This guide contains answer keys, reproducible activities, and a teaching overview. The beginning of the book features a suggested schedule, additional resources, and scope of learning overview for teachers. The majority of the guide features half-size reproduced student pages with the answers overlaid in gray for easy grading. A section of reproducible blackline masters for each chapter in the text is included for additional practice and review; an answer key for the activity pages is also included. 223 pages, softcover. Featuring all the vocabulary from the Song School Latin Book 2, this stack of cards can be used to play Memory or Go Fish by collecting Latin and English matches. Cards can also be used as flash cards for extra practice; each card lists the corresponding chapter number from the text.
