Calvert Math Curriculum

Calvert Math is a spiral math program that introduces basic instruction about numbers, shapes, and counting and helps students progress to place value, addition, and subtraction with carrying/borrowing. Available for Grades K-2.

Preschool

Calvert Curriculum is a mastery-based learning program. Teacher directed activities, systematic review through reinforcement using workbook exercises, and cumulative tests help young students achieve mastery. Easily adapted to a variety of daily schedules, each set features a student book with colorful, hands-on lessons and a teacher guide containing answer keys, lesson plans, and teaching tips. Calvert Preschool Math has 180 lessons that cover early math skills like numbers 1 – 12, shapes, counting objects, colors, similarities and differences, simple addition and subtraction and more.  Math set includes a student book 330 pages, a teacher guide 200 pages, a resource book 150 pages. Kindergarten

The Calvert Math Grade K curriculum is comprised of two teacher's guides and two student workbooks. Both student workbooks feature adorable full-color illustrations that make math engaging. The teacher's guide includes reduced-size student pages with the correct answers overlaid in addition to lessons that include a list of materials needed, objectives, and instructions for teaching the lesson.

This program covers directions, comparisons, shapes, colors, number order, problem solving, addition, subtraction, time, money, skip counting, number bonds, greater/less than and more.

Grade 3

Since each self-paced unit can be completed in as little as three to four weeks, students experience a sense of accomplishment at the completion of each one!
